The goal of the music ministry at TBC is to sing songs that encourage and edify the believer and give praise and glory to our great God. “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord!” (Psalm 150:6). We serve a God who is a person. He is not a statue or a monument made by man’s hands. We do not worship a tree, a mountain, or a geographical location. We worship a living, breathing God who desires for us to have fellowship with Him. One of the ways we do that is by our worship through music – that collective worship where we, as a body of believers, gather together to give praise to God.
If you have a voice to sing and have not joined the Jubilee choir, we have practice every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. and the first and third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Just come to practice and we will find a place for you to serve.
One of Southern gospel music’s most well known songwriters and vocalists, Mark Bishop, will join us at 5:00 p.m. on January 5.
