Teens

Welcome to the Trinity Baptist Teens!

Pastor Rory RigdonThe teen ministry, at Trinity Baptist consists of 7th through 12th grade students. Our focus is to help our teens build a strong spiritual and Biblical foundation that will carry them throughout their life…A foundation that includes prayer, Bible study, and worship.
Trinity Baptist has set aside a location on our campus called The Compass. This venue is specifically for our teens, in its physical design and spiritual emphasis. Just like an actual compass, The Compass is a devise (or ministry) used to help our young people find clear direction.

Our teens meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 for Sunday School. The classes are divided between Jr. High (7th and 8th Grade) and Sr. High (9th– 12th Grade).

Sunday evenings at 5:00, the teens meet for Trek and Journey, the Jr/Sr high school ministry of AWANA. For one hour, Trek (Jr. High) and Journey (Sr. High) dig deeper in God’s Word as we focus on learning more about our Lord. We also encourage our teens to continue memorizing scriptures. The last part of the evening is spent all together in The Compass as we have our own worship service.

There are many activities throughout the year for our teens. The main events would be our Summer Camp and our Fall Retreat, both of which are overnight getaways. The summer camp is spent with many other churches and teenagers and is a wonderful worship experience. Our fall retreat is just our teen’s chance to getaway together to learn more about the Lord and to spend time with each other.

We encourage you to come and be a part of the TBC Teen ministry.  We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you and to get to know you as we grow together studying the Word of God.
