Our Game-plan To Defeating Satan

As we have said, this year we’ve been praying for the lord to give us confidence and authority in our walk as we continue to grow spiritually and challenging ourselves that we are never to be satisfied with where we are. We should never be satisfied, rather always hungry for more. 

So whats our game plan?A game-plan is a strategy worked out in advance!  sports, politics, or business. How are we going to train, prepare and even train ourselves to think so we can win? 

We are fighting, struggling against the enemy and the flesh. What are we going to do on the front end, preemptively to be victorious? Let’s ask the question first, can we be victorious over satan, over the enemy? The answer is yes, because of Jesus.

The Real Reason You Can’t Move On

Life can truly be painful. If you live life around people at all, you are at risk to be hurt. People are naturally, emotional creatures. We offend an get offended—its part of our human curse, our imperfect flesh. You will get hurt in life.  Maybe you have been hurt by what people said about you… by what someone thought about you… You may have been hurt by what people have done to you emotionally, physically, verbally or financially.  It’s inevitable. You will be hurt by what people say and do.

Christians are called to live above the ebb and flow of human emotion, above human life. We must learn to get past hurt. There are folks in this room that have had horrendous things said to them, terrible things have happened to them, but I’m here today with the Word of God to show you that you can move on, and more than anything I want you to see The Real Reason You Can’t Move On. 

No delay here, no suspense build up—I just want to lay it out. The reason you cant move on, the reason you cant find joy or peace, is the absence of the one and only solution and thats forgiveness. The real reason you cant move on is because you haven’t forgiven your offender

Holding Near, Holding Dear, The Word of God!

In the battle for truth, the war against light there is at the top of the enemies list one thing, one item that has been warred against more than anything. That item, is our Bible. The Word of God! Intellectuals and academics have for hundreds of years, tried to disprove, cause doubt or to bring down our faith by destroying the the credibility of the Bible. 

The fight, the war against the Word of God has never been more prevalent than it is right now and it’s never been more important that we know, the we understand, why the we hold near and dear to the Word of God.
