Summary of Position: The Facilities Manager’s role is to provide direct oversight of Trinity Baptist Church’s facility maintenance and updates. The manager also works to achieve excellence in the presentation of the facilities and campus.
Modeling Biblical Priorities: Responsible for upholding Biblical priorities and core values of Trinity Baptist Church. The Facilities Manager should represent a growing personal relationship with Christ. They should strive to fulfill their purpose in life and ministry while demonstrating integrity in words, relationships, and actions. These objectives are accomplished by:
- Committing to a daily quiet time with God
- Attending services as a member of Trinity Baptist Church
- Setting appropriate boundaries to protect character and integrity
- Live a life in accordance with the core values, mission statement and by-laws and constitutions of Trinity Baptist Church.
- Developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside Trinity Baptist Church.
- Adhering to and encompassing the qualities and characteristics required of Trinity Baptist Church employees, as defined by the Employee Handbook
Essential Functions: Oversight and Execution of Environments
Oversight and Execution of Environments:
- Responsible for an end-of-the-week and pre-event walk-through to ensure all environments are spotless before the weekend gatherings.
- Ensure no trash or other debris is on campus before weekend gatherings or significant events. (Thoroughly check parking lots, road frontage, around the building, etc. )
- Walk with the lawn care provider once a week for quality assurance purposes.
- Create and execute a maintenance schedule
- Responsible for the HVAC schedule
- Responsible for set-up and tear-down in all environments related to meeting schedules, weekly gatherings, and big events.
- Create cleaning and set up checklists for all environments for quality assurance.
- Responsible for locking and securing all the facilities at the end of all events held on campus, weekdays, and weekends.
- Perform maintenance & improvement projects in the facilities.
- Point of contact for Fire Marshal and alarm company.
- Maintain Trinity Baptist Church’s fleet of vehicles.
Other Miscellaneous Items:
- Fulfill work-related task list items assigned to them by the Executive Pastor.
- Attends staff, departmental meetings, and safety and health training, as required, on time.
- Works when scheduled and complies with Trinity Baptist Church attendance policy.
- Available for after-hours emergencies on campus.

- Ability to operate various basic and complex hand and power tools, including calibration and test equipment.
- Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders, and walk.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and may be required to lift more than 100 pounds.
- Must have applied knowledge in general construction.
