Consistency, The Guardian of Power | Part 2
Titus 2:7-8
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
What is being taught here is integrity, reverence, and the incorruptibility of the Christian, and the structure that God requires within the church and the Christian home. There is order to all of this! God designed, we are to obey it.
That pattern looks like this. Live for God with all you have, today! Then do it again tomorrow, and as you do, you’ll actually grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ! Paul, here in Titus is talking about doctrine, but a pattern of living out sound doctrine leads to you to consistency with God and it doesn’t leave you in the same place you were, the benefit is growing in grace and the knowledge of the lord Jesus Christ.
