Happy New Year!
Praise the Lord, we made it! We have arrived in another year. Hello 2017!
A new year is often associated with starting over. A new tax year, a new year of medical or dental deductions, a New Year’s resolution or a new diet for a New Year.
As Bible believers we rejoice in the arrival of the New Year, knowing it is a gift from God. It is proof of God’s mercy and grace, the mile-marker – 2017!
In America, this year will be one of great change. A new president is to be inaugurated on January 20th. There will be new ambassadors to the United Nations, China, Russia, and Israel. All these are among the news for 2017.
The challenge we face as Christians and as a church is to have a new walk with the Lord. Our prayer, our plan and our push is to be more like Jesus each day in this New Year.
Every revival in a city or a country started in a church or a family first. Every revival that burned in a church or a community found a heart of faith in some believer.
Let’s pray together for 2017 to be the year of revival. Oh Lord, may it begin in my heart!
Don’t forget our revival begins Saturday night, January 14th as the men of our church meet for a meal, to spend time with our Evangelist, Tim Lee, and to pray together.
Revival services will start on Sunday, January 15th.
Happy New Year!
You are loved,
Pastor and Muzette
