Dear church family,

Our community has been devastated with a once-in-a-generation tragedy here in WNC due to the flooding and landslides in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

It is confirmed that multiple people in the greater Asheville-Buncombe area have lost their life in this tragedy and it is feared that many more will be confirmed in the coming days.

Multiple families within our own church family have lost their homes, their business, and some we have not been able to contact as of yet.

All events, ministries, and services will be canceled until further notice as power, water, cell service, and other basic utilities are not available. It could be many more days until any of that it is restored.

Our campus is being utilized by Buncombe County Emergency Services as a first responder hub and is housing emergency personnel from all over the East Coast.

Please stay off the roads if at all possible as emergency services continue rescue and recovery efforts. Pray for divine intervention, pray for safety of the responders, and pray for those whose lives will forever be changed.
