Let’s Sing
Consider the power of music. Music can make us feel glad or make us feel sad.
Music is connected to our spiritual being. God incorporated music into us when we were created.
The formation of worship in Heaven was built around music and singing. God even created Lucifer with special musical skills to lead the choir of Heaven in praise to the most High God!
Notice Psalm 100:2, Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.
We are to prepare our hearts and spirits with gladness and with singing so we can worship.
As we enter into church, we start with singing to make our hearts glad. Singing is to get our mind off of the problems of this world and to begin to think about the goodness of our Lord.
God said we should sing about Him so that the world can hear. We sing “Jesus Saves” so that the lost can hear and have hope!
Psalm 126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, the Lord hath done great things for them.
Our new Family Choir reminds us that we all have been blessed and we have a song. Not the song for the next DVD or CD, but the song of our heart, our praise to Him.
Psalm 100:1 declares it is not the quality of the vocals, but the joy of a sinner saved by grace.
Let’s be happy to unite our voices in praise and thanksgiving to our great God.
Let’s Sing! You have a place in the Family Choir today; get out of your chair and let’s sing to the Lord!
You are loved,
Pastor Ralph
