My Home and My Hope

I came across this thought as I was reading.  We actually need three homes:

1.   My Heavenly Home

2.   My Earthly Home

3.   My Church Home

A heavenly home means that I am sure of my soul’s salvation.  It is not because of works or the efforts of men, but because I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. 

An earthly home is a place to get away from the turmoil of work and world.  Home is a place to rest, eat, relax and build family relationships.

A church home is a place to restore my soul and is also a place to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and The Word of God.  A church home is where I build my faith and get hope!

A church home provides a shelter from the storms of life and a place to recover from the storm’s damage.

Our church becomes more important each day we live.  It is my help, my hope, my home! Our church is a community of people that love the Lord and love and care for each other. 

We are building and binding together for a spiritual home for our families!
