The Beauty of the Bride

Today before we come to the lords table to remember Jesus and His sacrifice, His love and the curse He became on the cross, I want to refresh your understanding on the relationship that we have with Jesus as the church, and more importantly how Jesus views his relationship with us.

On Wednesday night we dove in to the scripture and saw God as the judge, the great throne of divine perfection that makes every judgment in truth. We mentioned that relationship of God the father to us His children. We looked to the Holy Spirit and His office work as the comforter, the consoler and corrector.

But today as we approach the Lord’s table to remember the death burial and crucifixion of Jesus, we will take a moment and through scripture, we will see the relationship of the church to Jesus. Jesus as the bridegroom, and the church as the bride.
