What a wonderful time of year this is, as we begin to celebrate Christmas here at Trinity.

Today I am excited for all the children to present the Christmas play, “The Promise of Christmas”.

These children have been such a blessing to be around, to work with and minister to.  It is encouraging to watch God work in their lives and to see this ministry continue to grow.  They have been working so hard since October, practicing their parts, learning their lines, and singing new songs. I know today will be a blessing to each of you.

There has never been a greater message than the story of our Savior’s birth!  The Prophet Isaiah told of this promise, and we find in Luke chapter 2 that promise fulfilled.

What joy and excitement it brings to my heart to know we do have a Saviour.  JESUS! The true meaning of Christmas!

God Bless You and Merry Christmas!

John Burke-Children’s Ministry Director

Can you believe we are in the final days of 2021? None of us could have imagined how challenging the past year was going to be, but God knew, and He was in control every day.

I want to take a moment and thank God for all He allowed us to accomplish for His glory this past year. Hundreds of messages from Scripture were preached, thousands of songs were sung to our Lord, scores of people were gloriously saved, and many families were added to our congregation. God is good and continues to bless us.

As we close out the year, I encourage you to examine all of God’s blessings in your life and prayerfully consider how you can give back to the Lord. Our-end-of-year giving efforts are best described as a “Birthday Offering for Jesus,” and we invite you to honor the Lord and invest in the faithful ministries of this church.

Our annual birthday offering for Jesus will be celebrated at services on December 19. During each service, we will give a sacrificial gift, by faith, for the One who sacrificed all for us.

Here are four easy ways you can offer your gift:

  • Bring your gift with you to worship service on Sunday, December 19.
  • Make your offering online by visiting tbcasheville.org/give, select “Special” from the four funding options, and put “BOFJ” in the optional memo.
  • Mail your gift to the church office.
  • Use the special year-end giving envelope, available at each service, for your gift and bring it to any service now through December 31, 2021.

God bless you and thank you for giving as unto the Lord,

Pastor Winston Parrish
